Since 1971, I. David Marder lived and practiced law in the Tri-Town area. In 1988, the firm of Marder and Kallet was formed between I. David Marder and Michael E. Kallet. Together they practiced law until 1993. In 1997, Attorney Kallet and his family moved to California. In October 1997, the present firm of I. David Marder & Associates, LLC was formed and continues to the present.
I. David Marder I. David Marder was born in Hartford, Connecticut and resides in Tolland, Connecticut with his wife. He received his Bachelor's Degree from Springfield College in 1967 and his Law Degree from the University of Connecticut in 1971. David was admitted to the bar in 1971, and the Federal District Court for the 2nd District of Connecticut in 1973.
David was the recipient of the Jacob L. Fox Foundation Scholarship and is the author of "The Need for an Expanded Role for the Attorney in Divorce Counseling" in the Family Quarterly in 1970. He was Chairman of the Tolland Economic Development Commission from 1975 - 1980 and a member of the Board of Directors for the YMCA in 1980.
David is a member of the Tolland County Bar Association, Connecticut Bar Association, American Bar Association, The Association of Trial Lawyers of America and Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association. He served as President of the Tolland County Bar Association in 1981 - 1982 and a member of the Examining Committee for the Connecticut Bar Association in 1984 - 1985. David is a Special Master in Tolland County Superior Court on Family Matters and for the Regional Family Custody Trial Docket in Middletown, and a Fact Finder in Tolland County.
Joel A. DeFelice Joel A. DeFelice was born in Leominster, Massachusetts and now resides in Ellington, Connecticut. He received a Bachelor's and Master's Degree from the American University, School of Public Affairs in Washington, D.C., where Joel was a Dean's Scholarship Recipient from 1994 - 1998. Joel received his Law Degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law.
Joel is a member of the Tolland County Bar Association, Connecticut Bar Association, and American Bar Association.
